I spent most of interview answering about homeschooling my daughter. Thought that was odd. Feel like i was already judge based on my age and appearance. Not what she was looking for, but I have 25 years teaching experience with solid references and credentials so feel like other factors over rode. Just my opinion. Wanted someone who spoke Mandarin? Was not listed as prerequisite. This place did not feel warm, or child centered. Very much a business model, all about the numbers here and they pretty much tell you that upfront and actually good to know. I don't want to sound like sour grapes, I would have accepted the job if offered.
