Non, I was not there long. Applied online and dropped off my resume. Manager called me less than a week later and scheduled an interview with me. Imediatley got somewhat of an attitude towards me when I came in for the interview, did not know why she had one but they were busy so figured she was just having a bad day. Immediatley when we sat down she said my hand tattoos would not work and that she cannot hire me because subway has a no visual tattoo policy. Which now looking up online I do not think that is completely true because managers in lots of other stores across the U.S say it depends on the manager and that they don't discriminate because most of there hiring Gene pool would be non existent....it makes sense that she would act that way because I live in a conservative town in Texas, but I was just in shock because I've been in many food service jobs and never had a complaint about my tattoos. And the fact that she lied did not make this experience look good in my eyes. I asked if there was any way around it and she said if they stopped at the wrists then I could cover it but since they are on my hands I cannot work there. Even though most of the time people are going to be looking at the food and I'll be wearing gloves the whole time.
