What do you think you should do here?
They didn't ask any typical interview questions of me. Nothing was there to trip me up. They just wanted to be able to make an honest assessment of who I was, my thoughts on the industry, what I could contribute to their organization, and whether or not I'd fit in with their team.
When asked if I enjoy editing or writing more, I was honest and said writing, explaining that I had been an editor for many years and a writer for the last several years. My interviewer then told me that the position was mostly editing, and maybe in the future, there would be more writing. I think it was probably clear to both of us that the job wasn't a fit at that point.
