I was asked to describe growing up and the area that in lived in. The other part of the process just included the sample job tasks.

I forgot. It was a very simple interview which required you to transcribe audio.
Basic grammar questions with multiple choice answers. Use of commas in dates, proper capitalization, possessives, and putting a period at the end of a sentence were all asked. I was surprised that they DIDN'T ask about their/there/they're. The grammar test was followed by an audio transcription test. It's my understanding that more transcriptions follow but I didn't get that far.
As a writing sample, they asked me to describe my hometown. What makes it special? What sets it apart from other towns as you grew up? Name some things that occur in or are specific to your town and how they affect the community.
