I will be honest and unbiased in my experience, I feel a lot of work or review should be done in the recruitment process, I believe that I was led on to believe that I will be selected, the indicate so much interest in you and laugh with you, making you feel like you are already one of them. I made sacrifices in terms of adjusting my schedule to meet with the interviews at various times, that was a big deal, given the number of video interviews. Most of the questions were repetitions and the regular top 10 questions asked in an interview - Tell me about yourself - Why do want to work here, where do you see yourself in 5 years - What experiences do you have that are suited for the role etc I feel the recruitment team needed everyone (their team members) involved in the different interviews to have an excellent opinion of me, before I will be selected. Personally, I feel I did well, and I justified my skills and defended my CV and cover letter, but you know in today's world of opinions and unconscious bias, you will be lucky if 4 people, (some who were in a different location/office ) to have an excellent opinion of you. I don't play the race card or have persecution complex, but thoughts can run wide sometimes, maybe totally unfounded. Who knows ? It's all about one person saying nope! I read a previous review here about someone complaining about no diversity in Tinder
all questions were the fairly typical interview, "what if", style questions. my favorite was, "what movie, music, or book character would you consider to be your soulmate?" There is, of course, more depth to the question than it would at first seem.
Why Snapchat?
Thumbtack sent a written essay to evaluate your skills in replying to customers. They asked that you reply without knowing the background/rules at thumbtack. I did research on Thumbtacks regulations so I could answer the essay in the same way Thumbtack would.
