The phone interview questions were more about my experience and my education. I sent a written analyses report based on my master thesis to my second phone interviewer to demonstrate my ability to analyze data and communicate data. The onsite interview questions were varied. It includes some basic interview questions (e.g., Why Samsung? What product you use Samsung? What your experience can help Samsung?), some technical questions (e.g., machine learning, neural network, python, reduced dimensions), and some hypothesized questions (e.g., if we have the questions of xxx, what type of data you need? how do you analyze the data? what the data can tell us?)

If you have unlimited resources to do a research project about the company, what would it be?
There were none, as the person responsible failed on multiple occassions to set it up. If they found another candidate or chose not to proceed they should inform candidates. After the second nudge I decided not to pursue as the candidate experience was not good I didn't have high hopes for employee experience.
