What was one work experience where you had to do something that wasn't in your job description.
My experience within the field.
- Second of all, I expressed being nervous at the interview, as any candidate would be. “Losing my train of thought” - what? How? I can admit that I might have answered some questions to a little longer extent (but isn't that the point, to elaborate on certain questions?) - however, I always managed to answer their questions - I MADE SURE OF THIS because after EVERY question they asked me, I asked them “Was this an okay answer, did you receive the information you needed from me?” They always said, “Yes absolutely, thank you for answering that, that was great”. The conversation was going really well and I was so surprised to hear that “I was not being precise”. If I was not being precise, why would I be given answers like “Yes, thank you that was great, there’s nothing more to add”. I would have much rather appreciated transparency and honesty - if I didn’t answer something precisely that should have been addressed DURING the interview so I could have elaborated on a topic more or explained the perspective differently. There is truly only SO much you can get to know about a person within an hour. There’s more to me behind my qualifications and experience - there’s a person behind the job, I was merely trying to be open and share my personality as well. If I had been super precise and just answered the questions directly, that would have made me a robot. You would not have got to know who I am as a person too, and wasn't that the point? To find out if I was personable as well? I will continue my review below.
