Youth Card is a free mobile app that provides a one-stop-shop for 11-25-year-olds for self-led discovery of educational, career and personal development opportunities in a safe environment. Youth Card will enable young people to take charge of their own futures by providing opportunities for work experience, skill-building, mentoring as well as accessing inspiring broadcasts and exclusive discounts on consumer brands. The app is the result of a historic partnership between Speakers for Schools and leading youth charities UK Youth and Young Enterprise and has the potential to improve outcomes for millions of young people – particularly those from the most disadvantaged backgrounds. Successful versions of Youth Card already exist throughout Europe through the European Youth Card Association (EYCA) and in Scotland through Young Scot. We would like you to create a marketing campaign for Youth Card that looks to further promote the app to young people across the UK. This campaign should be structured around the KPI of reaching 1 million young people using Youth Card by 2024 so please consider your campaign accordingly. The strategy should encompass all channels and platforms, online and offline marketing opportunities and a generous budget (there is always opportunity to reign in an idea later on but best to aim high first!). We are particularly interested in all activities that relate to youth outreach and connecting young people directly with the app but please also consider the other stakeholders involved (e.g. parents, teachers, etc.) when creating your campaign. Please structure your campaign plan layout as you wish.
