Pros

Apart from the brand name of ABB, one can get the maximum learning exposure as it is one of the few companies which have diversified fields.

Cons

It is always difficult for a fresher to really cope up with the environment, personally I feel there is not much mentoring, training etc for a newcomer to really adjust to the environment. Put up 1 or 2 yrs of experience in small companies, take a big leap into ABB, then one can really reap the benefits of ABB.

Cons

very little time for personal life;forget personal life if you want career growth here;and politics as usual.
