Pros

No pros working for this company.

Cons

The senior R&D manager at ABB Bartlesville was a toxic and dysfunctional person to work with. Her leadership style lacked open communication and engagement with team members which created a difficult work environment, she did not bother to include me in meetings that were important to the project, and spewed political plays to repress my growth. DO NOT ever think about working here and if you already are, Godspeed.

Pros

1. Salary on Time 2. Salary Hike is min 5% with inclusive of 50% or more as variable pay 3. HR policies are good, but on paper 4. Women Empowerment is what they have recently started focusing on. 5. Good Learning if you are into R&D IT Team 6. Prefer to implement latest tech 7. If you want to survive for long, go for this org.

Cons

Before you read the below Cons, kindly do keep in mind that this is long running NON-IT Industry which is run on the basis of production and profit. My views are based on my interaction with different teams- Cons are- 1. Around 15-20% variable pay, which they say to pay more than 100% at the end of year but they actually dont pay even 40% and moreover they apply 30% Tax deduction on bonus pay. 2. Micro management, they dont understand or follow Agile Methodology Though as per ABB IT policy, we must follow Agile practices. 3. Top to Bottom Management, though as per HR policies, they are very transparent and follow unbiased Equality. This is not good for the moral support of Team mates. 4. They have hired a whole team of a bankrupted company which is harming the organization, complete NON-IT team working in IT industry. Hence, call it as No Team Play. 5. As this is a Product based manufacturing Industry, so, like other Non-IT organisations, Top Management prefer to favour their own employees, they dont think that after all this is ABB employee 6. Not good care of Employees and even Team Managers dont show interest as they are mostly from NON-IT Industries. 7. No deeds of motivation or entertainment. .
