Pros

If you are interested in project management showing GANTT charts, and drawing EVA diagrams, and conducting YES-YES meetings, this is the place for you. They have excellent conference rooms with projectors. You can book a room for hours together and show Power point presentations for the audience.

Cons

As a project manager, the expectation is to manage a big team with atleast 25 team members. But, I managed only a few. They expect you to micro-manage team members. Also, they are obsessed with EVA charts and GANTT charts. They cannot execute projects without Microsoft Project Plan. But, here is the catch, they have got a tool called Whizible for managing projects and they won't use Microsoft Project Server because it is too expensive. They have DOCUMENTUM for document management, HP Quality Center for test cases management, Merant tracker for bug management. But, they won't use Microsoft Project Server, because they want to give work for project managers by letting them use Whizible. They have a STAGGERED attendance system. The core working hours is between 10 AM to 4 PM. Everyone is expected to be at office during these hours. And if you are not in OFFICE during these hours, they will give you a call to let you know that you are MISSED at office. The work culture is pathetic. Any attempt to help them by suggesting a new work culture is met with SCORN or ANGER. They will suppress everybody who is not abiding by their rules. They have a DADA culture. Everybody should say YES-YES to their boss. Also, they have a BIG BOSS to whom all concerns should be reported. Failure to report concerns is considered a lack of respect for the BIG BOSS. The BIG BOSS is capable of screwing your career for good. So, suck up to all your bosses.
