Pros

If you have a good team then the workload is managable and the environment is an enjoyable one. When you're helping customers and they are greatful it makes your day. Pay is also quite good compared to other retail jobs.

Cons

Too many swaps of managers which means team members can't get a good flow as different managers change their priorities. With injuries they do not listen to your requirements. They say that ALDI is a good place where you rotate different jobs but sometimes you spend a whole shift on tills.

I felt confident and trained in everything, plus I had a good relationship with the management team.

Cons

Little communal food and drink in the canteen compared to that which other retail companies provide, and was often left on Self-Service for a full 8 hours.
