Pros

Good Pay If your DM happens to hire you good people, you're set.

Cons

Unrealistic goals The company is doing A LOT to grow, but the amount of people they use is the same. They want to attract new customers, but the stores look so messy all the time. Sure we can stay late, but that's not good customer service.

Pros

The only pros are the great pay and benefits. I would not recomend this job to anyone, not even my worst enemies.

Cons

Physical work load. Negative working enviroment. Not an adequite amount of time alotted to complete the given tasks. Scrutenized for each and every mistake. Upper management was very unprofessional. Gossip was apart of the every day enviroment. Associates knew about my mistakes before I did because there was no confidentiality policy in place and the store manager felt it was okay to complain about me and use negative comments about me around other employees. I wouldnt recomend this job to anyone that has thin skin. You will be bullied and expected to put up with it because you are payed so well. I was released without any warning so if your looking for a stable job this isn't the place for you. I had zero warning and zero documentation stating what I had done wrong. Im not writing this out of spite, the management was really good at running the floor but not so well at managing and building a team. I was scared for my job each and every day and I never once was latrle and never once called out, which reminds me when I was ill and showed up to work dizzy and throwing up at my store they got angry at me for being sick? I never had such a negative experience in all my years in the workforce.

Pros

Great Pay. Excellent Benefits. Paid holidays. Relatively open lines of communication throughout the company. This company is good at taking care of their employees basic needs.

Cons

Most Store Managers I have encountered have little management experience prior to managing their stores and spend too much time doing their subordinates job. This has lead to a manager who is too busy to develop their people and maintain their own sanity. Take this with a grain of salt. I have only encountered 6 Aldi store managers at various locations. I may have only been assigned to the bottom quartile.
