Good pay, good benefits, but you will be worked to the bone

Pros

The benefits are fantastic! The health insurance is top notch and DIRT CHEAP. Aldi matches 401k contributions. The pay is solid for no real requirements

Cons

Since stores generally run on a skeleton crew, the work will be back breaking. I actually developed an overuse injury from stocking shelves as we were required to stock the store in very small windows of time. Once you reach management levels, you only receive that management pay for hours where you are the acting manager. Essentially, you receive a promotion in name only. Burnout is very common as you'll likely be working odd/extreme hours

Good pay. Lots of hours. Great health insurance. Fellow employees are wonderful and its a great family feeling to the job.

Cons

No set schedule. Can be called in on days off. Must be required to travel at moments notice. Very few people on the job so you work yourself sick.

Great Pay! Never worried about getting enough hours Fast paced, keep you on your toes

Cons

Not enough down time High turn over rate for staff/ not enough staff Low staff means more workload on your shoulders Upper management doesn't appreciate the lower level associate as they should As a Shift Manager you could be scheduled as an associate at any time and payed less during that shift.
