Pros

Fast-paced, decent pay, interesting job. Newer stores with newer management teams have a good approach to employee relations.

Cons

Can be tough to hit KPIs in some stores. Some stores have dinosaur management that have a bullying culture.

Pros

Good pay. Managers rate starts at 12.00, but only goes up slightly after a few years. Mine is capped at 12.90 per hour + £4 Deputy Rate per hour when no Salaried Management are in. (Most afternoons). Fun environment (depending on staff)

Cons

Overworked. Almost no work life balance. Vastly Understaffed. If Aldi want to be considered a legitimate Supermarket, they need to increase how many staff they have on their roster, as well as how many staff are on each shift. Shifts are always an uphill battle, with not enough staff to help.
