Solid place for people who need to keep on shape. Good benefits.

Pay hasn't kept up with cost of living. New management processes have made advancement deceptively harder.

Pros

Fast paced environment. Lots of room to grow. Company is great at identifying future leaders/managers. I learned so much and am thankful for the tools they gave me to take to my future jobs.

Cons

If you are full time, they really won’t work with your schedule. They make you feel super guilty for taking sick days and when you are a manager…you have to come in (even when sick). I had broncopneumonia and had to come in. In effort to keep me away from customers (cause I sounded and looked awful), they put me in the freezer…which made me so much worse.

Pros

I genuinely do not have any pros for aldi other than that it pays slightly more than other grocery stores in my area.

Cons

We don't get paid enough, we're expected to be machines and not people, the efficiency standards are so high that we get screwed over when one person calls off. As a manager I only make $1 an hour more than associates, and they didn't give me the raise I earned after a year.
