Pros

Very useful employee health insurance at a very cheap price for ex: $10-12 per paycheck & that is for everything. Medical, dental, vision, prescription. Thats a steal.

Cons

Aldi tell you to treat customers, the "ALDI" way. And that is to push customers to put stuff on the belt faster. Or to multi task while a customer is putting stuff on the belt. Its horrible. I know Aldi's groceries are cheap and people will come back. But that is absolutely no way to treat a customer. If you are a male, you have to shave every day. No exception. Your face will be irritated. There is no other grocery store that will require you to do this. paying $12-13 to cashiers and squeezing every penny from that $12-13. Its a company policy to work with haste. If your store is on the low selling part of the city, you are basically screwed. Because you are going to have to work faster and clock out quicker to not make a loss. Its so messed up. Have to take orders from some just out the college graduate who doesn't have any experience in sale. Bottom line, they tell you to treat customers in a very nasty way. And once the customer complain about you, on strict 3, they'll fire you in a very humiliating way. I've seen people not lasting in stores for not more than 2-3 months.

Pros

Fast pace, do all jobs, fun, pay is great, you need to be a people person, can work at other stores besides your own!

Cons

Working random hours and days. Hard to move up in the company. Your schedule practically needs to be wide open to work.

Pros

Pay/Benefits, given high level of responsibility, the company follows through on what it says it will do, great developmental opportunities, people focused. You rarely will find bad people in leadership positions. You will be pushed by your leaders but will have respect for them.

Cons

It's very hard work, expectations are high and workloads can be unreasonable. However, if you stick to it you will get to a good place.
