Pros

The company offers good training, good pay, great benefits, promotional opportunities are good as the company is currently expanding to new areas of the country

Cons

There aren't many downsides. The work is hard as the job requires a 50 hour week, you have to work weekends and evenings as a store manager.

Pros

The pay was incredible for a cashier starting off the bat- $10 an hour! Plus our stores closed at 8 pm, so getting home at a decent hour was a plus.

Cons

Blech. The lines were awful, so the pressure they already put on you to be as speedy as possible (they're very adamant about this) easily increases. That was without a doubt my least favorite part of the job- the stress of going fast with constant large orders. You feel bad for those customers who only have 2 or 3 items and can't help wishing there were more cashiers available for them...

Pros

You are definitely rewarded for hard work done at ALDI, and everyone is definitely a team player when it comes to getting things done.

Cons

Long hours, minimal staff makes everything you do extremely important in a good and bad way in that mistakes could hurt more than just you.
