Pros

Good compensation and benefits package, promotions are hard to obtain within the company. Company has been hardly hit by current international market conditions.

Cons

Company tries to cut cost by outsourcing engineering personnel. Domestic contracts have been diminished due to difficulties to obtain permits for new power plants. Time-off policies cover in contract are highly questioned when employees need to make use of it.

Pros

They have a good benefit package, excellent health insurance, nice 401K. If you happen to work in the field service department you will likely have a job where you don't have to work too much during the year and it is very seasonal. If they don't have work you sit at home with a paycheck.

Cons

Would highly recommend any entry level individual stay away from field department. While the company boasts about its training, they have a difficult time training young enginineers especially with the current economy. Also as the economy got worse they hired more experienced indivdiuals as they lost their jobs for other related companies. Only to find they had about 2-3 times more workers in some departments and less than half as much work than a year earlier.
