      Local Management detached from Company methodology

      Pros

      A big company and if yoiu dont like a department, one can move to other department or locations. Good international appointments are available.

      Cons

      Local management is too detached from central engineering. The middle management is club of old boys good for nothing.

      Pros

      Alstom is a great company to work for, one good thing about it you can be able to work in so many countries around the globe.

      Cons

      There are not much of career opportunities in California. Most of the good sites are in far-away communities.

      Amazing company globally, but not in Egypt

      Pros

      The company offers flexible attendance policies that do not require fingerprint check-ins, and they occasionally offer good pay packages. In addition, employees have the opportunity to work in Gulf countries if deemed lucky.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, in Egypt, some managers have extensive power and can operate outside of established norms, with HR often providing cover. It can sometimes feel like working in a small Mafia, with little job security and uncertain outcomes. While my experience in Dubai was positive and fulfilling, I have noticed that Egypt's work environment can be toxic and polarizing.
