Pros

Alstom Power had good technology and lots of experience in power generation. The company has good culture and provided sufficient training for employees.

Cons

Sometimes, there are too much discussions during the work. In addition, a lot of old procedures are existing in the system, which needs to be clean. Therefore, the efficiency still has lots of room to be improved

My association is just over 6 months with this organisation. Compared to Eastern zone the office culture is better in contrast with my previous organisations. Work/life balance is good for some job roles. Compensation structure is good compared to the market situation in Eastern India.

Cons

However, since this organisation has been taken over by another renowned MNC, might be a huge cultural shift. Some people are extremely bogged down with tremendous workload.
