      Good place to work for engineers; not so good for commercial managers!

      Pros

      Great products; knowledgeable industry experts; good salary and benefits; significant opportunities to have great international exposure in a true, multinational company that has expansive operations in all corners of the world.

      Cons

      Difficult to climb the company ladder as an American, especially on a commercial or general management track. Company has gradually been transitioning over to French, centralized management from Paris or Switzerland. Sometimes too heavy a short-term and technical focus. Takes forever to make or approve decisions. Too many corporate re-organizations.

      Interesting Projects, but the local branch is poorly managed with little incentive to continue working there.

      International company: work with colleagues from different countries Good health benefits and 401k Some interesting projects

      Cons

      Large turnover, many poor department managers, very little incentive to continue working, career paths are not defined or implemented, over 95% of employees have held the same job for the last 5 years.
