Pros

Great Company & good potential for future growth, specially after addition of ATI graphics team to already existing processr team

Cons

AMD has still way to go before competing against microprocessor giant like Intel. It will take a few years before it reaches its prime

Pros

Good work environment and some nice and talented people that you get to work with is something that I have always like about working at AMD.

Cons

Career oppurtunities are very limited and there is almost no appriciation for good work. The level of compensation compared to other companies in the industry and even other locations of AMD is terrible. I have had very little or no raises over the last 3 years and the company just reduced salaries of all fulltime employees by 10%.
