Pros

401k, health benefits, discount on wired and wireless services. Will reimburse college tuition expenses after 6 months with the company. Guaranteed raises every 6 months.

Cons

Commission changes in the past couple years have drastically cut pay and capped top performers. A lot of competition between all the extra authorized retailers, online sales, and door to door sales. The "sales" front is changing more towards customer service only. Tenured employees get schedule bid as well as much higher pay. Hard to get a good schedule unless you have been with the company for many years. Technicians are constantly messing up orders and sells are stolen quite often. Weekend installers are contractors who get paid hourly and could care less about the job they do, or if they even show up to your customers door step.

Pros

Good pay, higher than industry average. CWA union has your back.

Cons

I don't like the idea of being fired for not meeting sales goals. A manager admitted to me that 100s of "great employees were let go due to not meeting sales requirements for Digital Life last year". FYI, Digital Life is not even a sales requirement for us anymore.
