Pros

Sales allows you to reap what you sow. Great pay for an entry level position. Great benefits.

Cons

Retail hours and being a punching bag for (some) customers.

Pros

Great benefits and competitive pay. Hours are guaranteed. Union backed position that makes you feel like you may have some guaranteed job security.

Cons

The 20/20/20 vision makes everyone feel expendable. Retail feels as if every month could be their last. It's scary to know you may be in a posting that could be surplussed at any moment. Work/life balance can be difficult when the stresses of performance carry into your domestic life. Managers are very dishonest and untrustworthy. If looking into the company, find a department that isn't at risk of becoming obsolete. Do not get into sales. You will slowly realize you will be under more stress for less money.

Pros

Great people, lots of advancement opportunities. Great rewards perks like Summit trips for award winners.

Cons

Really not much. It can take a bit to move up in the company but they normally have a keen eye for talent.
