Pros

Some of the best reasons to work at AT&T is the pay rate, benefits, and vacation time allowed. Also, the 401k and penison plan. As well as AT&T will pay a portion toward furthering your education.

Cons

Some of the items that can make working for AT&T is the attitude of toward people with family. It can be very difficult to get off when needed to handle family issues. Also, the hours you work can be frustrating at times there is a black of date where employee are not allowed off. and your works are set on your senority; a downside if you do not have much time on the job.

Pros

AT&T offers many opportunities for training, movement and advancement within the company. An employee is only limited by his or her enthusiasm or resourcefulness. It has a comprehensive benefit offering that is comparable or better than most other Fortune 500 companies. The company is very sensitive to the needs of its employees both personally and professionally. It is located in many regions in the US and world. There are many opportunities to telecommute if the job is conducive to that environment. Most departments within the company have a great sense of camaraderie and sharing of information. It has great pride in its brand recognition and how it is percieved by the public. AT&T believes wholeheartedly in corporate philanthropy and offers matching funds and grants to many relief efforts and organizations worldwide.

Cons

It is a very large corporation. It is very structured in its operations and sometimes that feels limiting or restrictive to employees. There can be a lot of red tape or processes to get things done.
