Pros

great WLB and generous PTO

Cons

TDP is supposed to be a program for new grads to develop their skills. However, your promotion isn't based on your actual technical work. Instead, it's entirely dependent on a group of supervisors who are external to your team and know nothing about tech. In the end, you could do nothing and contribute zero value but still get promoted as long as you kowtow to these supervisors. Too much time is dedicated to non-work-related activities (DEI, advocating for the company), and no one really cares about your technical skills. Your team won’t give you meaningful work because they know your time has to be spent on pointless TDP volunteering activities. Only join if you're good at small talk and want to coast through. Don’t come here if you’re serious about tech and want to develop your skills
