A. Management didn’t know anything. Bdrs had to correct and teach them. At first I thought it was a mistake but it was not.
B. Management rarely had review calls or gave feedback.
C. It was a metaphorical plantation. I’m not joking. They didn’t want us to think, they wanted us to do what we were told, even if it was contradictory. They wanted us to act happy all the time and assumed we would never realize that 2+2=/5. They also assumed that we wouldn’t ever remember them lying or dare to call them out on it. They would punish you severally for small missteps, like missing a punch. They would gleefully fire people publicly as a way to intimidate others.
D. Policy constantly changed and you will not be updated on those changes if you take PTO. This really was hard if you have a learning disability.
E. I felt used and lied to. I worked hard and I was told multiple lies throughout my time here that they would be happy for me to move on. That was a lie. They will try to emotionally bully you into staying if you’re half decent and after convincing you to stay they’ll threaten to try to fire you. It was like being in an abusive relationship. They very much took a whip and a carrot approach except the carrot was fake.
F. I didn’t feel productive. It was a lot of busy work. I don’t like feeling that I’m wasting my time.
G. They constantly gossip. They try to manipulate you emotionally and try to turn people on each other.
H. One of my managers was a narcissist who would never talked sales and never coached any of us once. The one time we did a one on one he would talk about himself. I felt alone.
I. I feel bad for my former coworkers. I wouldn’t be surprised if their campaign ends soon.
J. The pto policy wasn’t good, especially during covid.
K. They only went remote because of covid. Apparently they were super against it in the past.
L. I felt like a zombie working here.
M. It was the darkest period of my life. I hope to forget it. I had lost family and friends during this time. I felt pressure not to take time off to mourn. I should have.
N. They like to publicly punish and humiliate employees.
O. They talk bad about their partners constantly and blame them. Not a good practice.
P. Extremely disorganized.
Q. The healthcare took 1/5 of my paycheck. There was no 401k. There were no perks. You can get better bonuses working customer service. Some customer service jobs have better insurance.
