Pros

Good name and if you’re in a good project, you’re happy. If the project is toxic, you have no choice.

Cons

This pandemic season, they are letting people go but not doing a retrenchment because that will entail paying employees separation pay. They are tricking employees by having a quota of putting people on PIP and giving them a choice of force resignation or not getting any compensation when terminated after PIP. They are intentionally putting people in PIP even if they are not worthy of getting that rating. This is a coward move! If you want to downsize give them what they deserve! I’ve been with the company 7 years and this is what u do to me???!!! This is inhumane and makes me regret staying in this company.

Pros

Initiative core workers, snacks, location

Cons

All this review concerns "vendor" locations and Google Project I don't know where to begin really. I will try to set it here topic by topic: WORKING HOURS You are expected to do overtime, but never paid more than 1x for your hourly rate Your lunch break is 30 minutes(lol) and your lunch and break times are excluded from your working hours. So you are working from 7 to 4 or 8 to 5 depending on the market you support. So you work 9 hours. Your breaks are blamed on you because you went to toilet too much or you have exceeded your lunch break by 5 minutes because you have no food facilities on site and you have to walk there and back to buy food. WORKLOAD There is little to none job description. Google project and product is amazing. Very deep products but Accenture management, instead of hiring more people, they try to burden people with side tasks and they call it "progression and "challenge". I swear I hated this word thanks to them. Challenge lost the meaning for me. Cheap management trying to minimize every penny. 16-17 minimum(agents) cases are expected when you work on a busy market whereas less busy and European markets are favored and given more and more benefits. Team Leads are expected to manage everything but they are never given authorization to approve r deny anything. They do the heavy lifting but OPS are taking the credit when they do gang meetings and decide how they are going to make your day worser. PAYMENT AND BENEFITS I swear to god, I better do charity work! They take around 35-45k from Google but they pay only 28-29k to the agents. Team leads are paid 35k a year and guess what? Yes double that taken fro Google. And guess what else? Every language pair is paid differently =))) Germans are favored, paid moving bonuses whereas Turkish are begged for working visa and threatened to lose their visa on their performance reviews. No equal pay, no side payments, bonuses(only 10% max if you are superman/superwoman) are calculated depending on whether OPS like you or not. There is no performance achievment tools, only excel files. EXCEL EXCEL EXCEL EXCEL! Trix everywhere!(Insert meme here) Health insurance is only done after 6 months, if you become corona for example on your 5ht month, good luck! Talking about health, they have avoided sending people home until 16th of March where they already had 2 Corona cases I have warned them with a mass email about corona and not enough care and precautions taken on JANUARY! No hand sanitisers until March. They want you to clean your own desk with bleach. You, as an employee, you clean Google's facility. lol. Attention here: Not a single month your payroll is correct. There is always something missing. If there is a problem. Good luck getting ont the payroll team. The error will be fixed next month. Guess what? Next month comes, you see the payslip and it is not fixed. You go to payroll furious this time, "sorry next month it will be fixed" MANAGEMENT Omg. Don't make me come there. Indians(no offense) everywhere! People come from x x y z projects and first meeting, they want you to change how you do things for 2 3 years. All they care about is to pamper Google on meetings. They have no stance against Google, they can not decide anything, they agree on everything even though things are not doable. Bullying is common. They do not send you email about the tasks but expect you to do it. They do not let you chose your annual leaves but expect you to spend them on December. Why? Because too less people. Your grievance cases are handled by agents who joined Accenture 1 month ago and guess what? Even though you have every proof, your grievance process is favored against you. I am not writing these because I am hurt, I write these because I am confident. I have proof. They move you building to building every 2 months. You have no job guarantee but you also are not fired. You are only bullied and stressed. GCE(GOOGLE) HAS THE BIGGEST ATTRITION RATE ON ALL ACCENTURE PROJECTS. STRESS LEAVES ARE LIKE FLU. EVERYBODY HAS ONE. PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING. CAREER PROGRESSION None. Before there was clear paths and circulation. Now there is none. Favorism everywhere. Managers change teams constantly and people can not click with their teams or managers because of that. Your internal promotions are handled poorly, and they do not provide written feedback. Because they cheat and already have chosen who shall take the position. For exmple: You want to move projects? Got an amazing position where your past 2 years experience is exactly what they are looking for? Email: "We are sorry your experience does not match our needs" ahahahhaha I know the recruitment team is too appealing and sugarcoating things but believe me. You don't want to go there. Ask every German, French, Italian or Turkish guy for example you know in Dublin, you will be told to stay away! Stay away to keep your mental health as it is. Find another job. Go be barista for a first job.

Pros

Interesting projects. Great chance for people without experience to start IT career. Flexible working hours, remote work possibilities, pizza events and technology conferences, also there are highly-skilled key specialists who really inspire juniors to learn and to grow as a professional with their own example. In overall, company is amazing place for students, interns, juniors - for working there 1-1.5 years for IT career start. Not recommended to stay longer - other companies can provide more attractive career growth.

Cons

- Salaries are significantly below market. Senior developers earn less than juniors in majority of other companies - Code quality may be low, because often code could be written by interns and juniors. - Dress-code is more or less acceptable, but would be nice make it more casual. We are in 21st century and restrictions for athletic shoes is outdated stuff, especially taking into account the fact that anyway no one follows them. - Some people can stay 2 or 3 years on one level with no salary increase - probably because of 'soft skills' (e.g. - being introverted and not participating in company and capability activities aside of their main work)
