Pros

Accenture is a large company that has the ability to solve a plethora of issues across several industries which is key in today's volitile business world. The company is able to provide resources on a global scale to its clients. The company allows for travel which is exciting at the beginning of one's career.

Cons

Some of the projects are very long and do not allow for younger resources to gain experience across a wide variety of industries which seems to be why resources join Accenture.

Pros

Lots of different openings, and a wide variety of work can be available. Some great training available in the IT area.

Cons

Can be difficult to leave projects, and Accenture will put you on projects you hate, without any difficulty. Lots of SI work.

Pros

Technology consultancy at Accenture covers all imaginable specialisations. You are able to follow projects from the inception through to implementation and deployment phases, and get different responsibilities throughout the lifetime of the project. You will be challenged to make things happen. People are really driving for the same target, and company makes an effort to keep everyone well utilised throughout the year. Your thoughts, wants and needs are listened to, however it's a company that must make money from the services, and therefore one must sometimes accept the short stick opportunities as well.

Cons

Target utilisation has a flipside, you get training preferably when not in projects and your own scorecard will show it, if you spend too much time in doing other than client facing work. Large part of your personal development is in your own hands, and the company supports it. Not suitable for everyone, but when you know and have a picture what you want to do, and can communicate it to your seniors, they will listen and help you forward.
