Pros

Bench time to do personal stuff, 5 weeks of PTO, Travel Perks (hotel, airline, rental car points), mobility in working in different industries, OT pay for analyst and consultant level once over 48 hours per week. You can control your own destiny by getting staffed on projects that you want. Flexible working arrangement (home office) Overall, the people are good to work with. Most are smart, but nevertheless, all are personable, sociable, likeable and easy to work with.

Cons

Pay is lower than other companies at the same level It can get political, especially for promotion and project staffing processes Some individuals will become specialists earlier in their careers

Pros

Solid name of the company, recognized of the labor market. Also is pretty good for beginners to get project experience and find friends. There are opportunities for local employees to get experience of big international projects and even relocate abroad for the project or on permanent basis.

Cons

Not clear criterias for promotion. Moscow office managed from Itlay, which means all critical desicions are done ther in a very slow manner. In many cases company loose tenders because of inadequate management on the ground. There is some may be local downsides like: vacation can be easily cancelled at last minute, salaries are sometimes below market levels.

Pros

The people you work with; The clients you work with; The skills and experience you gain.

Cons

Sometimes long hours (though I personally found this was balanced out with bench time...though maybe i was lucky); You can also become a bit 'institutionalized', though no more so than any other large consulting firm
