Pros

Nothing to list. Maybe just a fact, that if you don’t have any degree Accenture will still hire you and promote.

Cons

Accenture is large, fairly well-known company that has gone downhill for the last few years. I feel like I was discriminated against while working there for almost 3 years because of my sexual orientation (straight), having a family, and for not supporting their political beliefs (democratic). I finally left Accenture to join another company that celebrates diversity and inclusion of all orientations and beliefs – not just the trendy, non-traditional ones. While working at Accenture, I witnessed the following: Hiring and promoting only employees that have the same ethnic background as the manager. Showing preference to LGBT employees when it comes to promotions and favorable job positions. I worked in a group where all the team leads and QA leads were members of the LGBT community. The only employee to be promoted that wasn’t part of this community was quickly ostracized and ended up having to quit. Discriminating against employees who have families. Employees who needed to take time off for family reasons (maternity, sickness, etc) were disassociated when they returned, forcing them to eventually quit, Low paying positions with miniscule pay increases when promoted

Pros

Steady paycheck, can cruise around for years if you are a technical, as many here lack that skillset, and there are plenty of clients and projects for you to cruise around for years. Decent benefits, 401k and stock purchase.

Cons

If you are technical and can code, beware, the culture here is they place you with plenty of clueless folks who knows little to nothing about salesforce. or can't even write code. You will see where the favorites who can't even handle the functional side of salesforce get promoted while you do their work without the acknowledgement. Leadership always incorrectly staff folks in projects, that is put functional folks in developer roles, and developers into functional roles and wonder why project end up failing.

Pros

plenty of meetings about being sensitive and social issues

Cons

I was recruited as a subject matter expert in a specific field. Accenture didn't place me in contracts in said field, but rather, in whatever contract needs bodies. Rather than work in my 20+yr specialty, I created power points for sales, took notes, edited papers and when I finally had a semi-technical role, it was well in a different swim lane- system architecture and coding is NOT behavioral analysis of employees. After speaking to my people lead about the mis-fit role, I was promptly let go from the firm. 0/10 recommend. It's a glorified temp agency.
