Not a long term job

Pros

- Free food! - Good breaks due to the content of the job - Simple and easy work when you get the hang of it if you can stomach the graphic content - Great for a year or so, however keep in mind that the workplace is always changing drastically. You never know what you'll get out of this job environment sadly.

Cons

- Poor communication even during emergency situations - Biases are apparent in the workplace - A few higherups will throw you under the bus the moment they get stressed, not all of them! But it's happened many times for sure! Some people have even been fired for it. - Terrible leadership, they will try to gaslight you into believing you're the problem sadly when in reality, they need to understand that the job carries a lot of heavy content that isn't being dealt with in a healthy manner. - Doesn't pay you enough for what you do. - You are a contract worker and you will be reminded of that - Mental health might be what the job advocates for, but it's not organized and they do not offer you genuine professional therapy for the job. That will be from outside sources. - Growth is SLOW, I genuinely don't see many people get promoted. You're more likely to jump on a new project.

Pros

They pay well and have decent benefits

Cons

They claim to be innovative but their culture sniffles innovation. There is a disconnect between their client facing teams and their leadership - leadership believes they are the best out there and always innovating while the client teams provide incremental changes and deliver outdated tech solutions to clients. Unless you have an advocate at a higher level, you will not receive a promotion, raise, or bonus regardless of what your accomplishments are. Their culture is full of cliques - if you're not in the right clique your career growth with stagnate.

Terrible Treatment

Pros

No pros to mention here. This is a standard employer that does not care about their people whatsoever.

Cons

I had an issue at work with the compensation I was not receiving in my contract. I spoke to a few leads in my project and they directed me to HR. I spoke to 2 different people in a foreign country and both passed the buck back to the project. I stated specifically that I was directed to contact HR. Both reps said the same thing, "they needed to check on something". Both placed me on hold and ultimately hung up on me. The first call lasting 30 minutes, the second 1 hour. This company does not care about their employees whatsoever. They pass the buck and even Human Resources hangs up on you. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT A HUMAN BEING. TERRIBLE TREATMENT!
