Pros

good job to start Some flexibility in some projects Young team Possibility to use your language skills even if you dont have the technical skills

Cons

- Salary very low in comparation with the competence, plus the salary is like the ticket planes, all the people have a different salary for the same level. - The HR is one of the worst that I ever saw, they dont care about the people and they do many mistakes, no flexibility at all, and you can even address them directly thanks to the new rules - The management... the one that I have in my project was really unpolite, unprofesional, without no vision, no people skills, no taking care of problems in the team, and they just wanted to show of who had the power - The people there, very hard for non Czech speakers, and there wasnt a really team spirit, not even promoted from the management, that was dividing the teams to do teamwork. - The benefits are being reduced year after year in an undercover way for example holidays that were 25 days, but now are 20 days and when you use them you can have another five days. This means that if you leave the company they will give you less money, or if you didnt have time to take the holidays due big load of work you miss this extra 5 days. - There are many kissasses in the company and this is the only way to grow on it. They dont care about your abilities/experiences/results if not if you are a kissing the floor where some of the managers steps. This leads to a low manager in the company. - Watching managers falling to sleep in the office, shouting to another manager that they go to pee in the open space, or hearing how they will have home office from the cottage without internet, isnt either motivating. - The job is quite repetitive and boring

Pros

Good growth if you are in the right place at the right time and ready to compromise your values.

Cons

This review is based on my personal experience and also what I've heard from many people from Accenture India Delivery Centre (IDC). If you are looking for a job with IDC at Manager, Senior Manager or Senior Executive level, I highly recommend you to go through this review- There are many issues with this part of organisation and I am planning to share these in 6 parts covering following topics- Part 1 - Culture Part2 - Leadership Part 3 - Type of work Part 4 - Support Teams Part 5 - Rewards and Recognition Part 6 - Policies This review is not to malign Accenture's image in a public forum, but can help Accenture to look at themselves and fix this problem. I love this company and unless they fix the IDC, which hosts almost 1/3rd of employees of this global giant, we will see many problems in future. This review is in the best interest of the company, its employees, its shareholders and most importantly the folks who want to build their career with them.
