Good and Bad

Pros

- Big company with lots of supportive peers - Lots of learning opportunities and paid trainings/certifications - Decent pay (due to raises/promotions) from my lead handling my yearly reviews well (just don't expect FAANG pay)

Cons

- Your promotions may be handled by someone completely outside your work - Hard to see a future and growth without putting in extra time. Projects are client contacts, therefore delivering client asks comes first. Learning and gaining skills to move up are done on your own time. - Must keep interviewing to find the next project. I do not like continuously interviewing if I already have a job. - Work/life balance will depend on your project and the project manager (I have been mostly lucky with my projects and have had great work/life balance)
