Pros

1. You will meet a wide range of fantastic people. 2. You will learn resilience. 3. Sales director is 10/10. 4. Socialising on a Friday, you get a free bevy, 5. Finish on time. You don't have to work through lunch if you're just starting, if you get promoted you will. 6. Diverse energetic department.

Cons

1. You apply thinking you're getting a BDM role. then you get an SDR on significantly less, then you get offered the job and it's min wage. It's a bit of a mission to travel to for anyone from Manchester, and the cost of travel makes it less attractive, 2. You never find out if the clients you sold to actually got the results. 3. You can hit all your targets and still feel like the entire sales floor has failed. The elephant in the room is the economy and lead quality but you can NEVER discuss. 4. One bad apple cause a Dominio effect in staff leaving and management ignored complaints. TIP - start the google digital marketing qualifications if you want to progress.

Pros

Sociable Some nice colleagues Nice park next to office

Cons

Management overall very much chaotic. Nepotism is rife with upper management (everyones related to each other or are together). Low salary, and high workload. You're expected to be in office 5 days a week (big requirement for such a laughable salary), meanwhile the office floor is so noisy, people just straight up have full conversations next to you when you're doing a client call, making it a hard environment to focus and work in. Overall I just got such a weird vibe - everyone puts on an overly positive front, but once I got to know some colleagues better, I found out that everyone was struggling with the same issues I was too. It's no wonder turnover is so bad. In the few months I worked here, my entire team was almost all new people as everyone I started with left!

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear that your time with us felt this way. Recruitment and promotion decisions are based on role requirements, performance and capability, and we continually review our governance and leadership structures to ensure fairness and transparency. We recognise that workload, salary expectations and office environment all contribute significantly to colleague experience. If colleagues are in the office, we hope in-person office presence supports collaboration, development and performance, but we understand that this won’t suit everyone.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are pleased you enjoyed the social atmosphere and office environment. We are sorry to hear that the role itself didn’t meet your expectations. Sales and digital marketing roles can be fast-paced and target-driven, and that environment won’t be the right fit for everyone.
