Pros

Immense financial power Good investment in people Highly talented people (if you have the chance to work in one of the teams that actually functions properly) Good if you want a workplace to grow old in (should rather be a con as far as I am concerned but I see people are actively looking for such a a place)

Cons

The following are based on my experience as part of the Security Organization: Unstable environment Success is highly dependent on the team you end up in The vast majority of employees are sub-par in knowledge (however there is some very strong talent to be found as well) Very poor company values (in practice) Very poor middle management Lack of planning and no consistent strategical/tactical approach Security maturity level could be objectively characterized as initial on the capability maturity model scheme Investment in security is lead by people who don't understand the security industry.

Great perks, bad politics

Pros

Loved all the perks like drinks, cafeteria, gym, basketball court, soccer, family movie nights, food truck Fridays. It was a lax workplace.

Cons

Can get really political really quickly. People like to withhold information they find valuable and it ends up hurting the team.

Pros

Latest technology , a lot of possibilities to work on stuff that you are interested in. Fast moving company, changes are happening fast and there are a lot of internal career possibilities. Great compensation and benefits package (top market). Amazing culture and environment. Flexible working hours.

Cons

None that I can think of.
