      Adobe - Best Place to Work. Ever.

      Pros

      Almost every person at Adobe is truly wonderful. I mean it. People are valued. Quality of life means something @ Adobe, not lip service. We make stuff, not just sell hours. Because of #2 above, customer satisfaction is #1, not utilization. The comp and benefits are very generous.

      System Integrator mentality is seeping in.

      Big Company, with all the good and bad that implies

      Pros

      Although a relatively large company, Adobe has always thought of itself as a BIG company. This does have its advantages: - Competitive salaries, great benefits, stock - Support of charitable giving and activities - Resources, opportunities

      Cons

      However, operating as a "BIG" company also has its drawbacks: - Bureaucratic - Slow-moving - Tentative - Rewards longevity rather than innovation - Annual Christmas purge (layoffs)
