Good, stable company

Pros

Good salary & benefits, workspace and work environment. Good people, unless you get stuck with a bad manager (which can happen, owing to sheer size) or bad project (again, which can happen and big company politics comes into picture)

Cons

Not much to grow & learn, unless you are fortunate enough (or political enough) to be given to build a product from ground-up. Company relies on short term block-busters, rather than long term vision, as it doesn't has a solid economy around it's solutions unlike it's competitors like microsoft, apple, oracle, etc. Can be boring as they don't take big enough risks and somehow keep re-cycling old ideas

Great Company

Pros

Great company to work for, at any stage in your career - as fresher or as an experienced professional. Technology stack is quite relevant in most of the teams and you will learn marketable skills. Great work-life balance even when the workload is high. Most managers are mature and compassionate.

Cons

None, according to my experience..
