      Amazing benefits, downsides of a panicked corporaton

      Pros

      Love some of my co-workers. Benefits and time off generous.

      Cons

      Hard to get promoted/not common. Minimal pay raises. Easy to get pigeon holed or stagnate in one job. Recently, a wave of anxiety about keeping up in the AI market has led to lots of panicked hiring, firing, and questionable/toxic behavior on the marketing side (top-down).

      Pros

      On top of PTO and national holidays, Adobe has several Global Wellbeing days that are days off during the weekday throughout the year. The Wellbeing days are great as other companies are still working during the week day, so it's less crowded at museums, shopping areas, movie theaters or theme parks.
