      A great place to work has now become a still good place as long your job is not getting off-shored

      flexible work schedules and ability to telecommute when needed, benefits changes this year but still competitive in the market, great working environment - offices still for most employees, gym, payback if you want to join gym close to home or take a class, education benefits paid, generous vacation depending on your manager,people care about what they do

      Cons

      More and more jobs off-shored and less focus and reward for innovation, more sniping about other groups, senior executives don't have the trust of the employees as they once did with their decision-making, HR all about process and not about the people

      Managers are biased in taking decisions. It all depends on the product that you work. Just work will not fetch results you need be in good harmony with the managemet to get promotions

      Pros

      - people still respectful of one another - people share knowledge and information - really smart people - benefits are still decent - company does good works for the community and environment

      Cons

      - too much job insecurity and pressure to produce - too much off-shoring of jobs - splitting engineering efforts between groups on opposite sides of the world is counter-productive; it takes twice as long, not half as long.
