Pros

People, typically below management, do want collaborative environments and care about customers and each other. Together, we are amazing and could get stuff done well

Cons

Leadership tends toward disingenuous around values to the point of soul crushing. Be prepared for being ignored, tokenization over genuine respect, and silo'd upper management uninterested in feedback they ask for. Sycophants thrive; data aligned thinking is discouraged when misaligned with upper management assumptions.

Pros

The culture and benefits at Adobe go far beyond what many companies offer. There’s a genuine focus on employee wellbeing and career progression, with strong support for physical and mental health, maternity and fertility benefits, and initiatives that encourage a healthy work-life balance. Adobe also attracts like-minded, genuinely supportive people, which makes it a positive and enjoyable environment to work in. They also invest heavily in education and certifications, supporting employees in developing skills and progressing toward their long term career goals.

Cons

The pace and level of change can be demanding, which works well for people who enjoy dynamic environments, but may not suit everyone
