Pros
- Even though we have hybrid setup 2 days home 3 days office, we could come to office for an hour and it's ok in those 3 days. - Best office food you can ever ask. - Love the snacks at the kitchen. - Laid back, relatively low stress
Cons
- Leadership, in my area as well as some other teams that I've heard from, are expecting employees to be independent. Don't expect someone to sit with you and show around or teach something. This could be a PRO for some especially senior devs while CON for others especially associate. - Quite segregated, so sometimes you do see people become friends across cultures etc but usually people find alike people to themselves, become friends so if you're a new dev, it might not be easy as you like to have coworker friends. - Leaders are great at what they do but not so much in interpersonal skills. - Starbucks coffee shop within the building is not great, also all coffee machines doesn't give good coffee either. - One team could have each dev from variety of time zones making collaboration even harder.
