- Sun Tax and Salaries : The company is one of the only large recruiters in IT, almost creating a monopoly. There is no competition in terms of compensation. Attrition could be less even with low salaried, due to lack of competition and the weather of the region.
- Learning and skills : In terms of learning, this may not be the best place. There are learning programs but controlled by managers who may only approve trainings they feel are relevant - not giving you opportunity to learn something outside your current skillset.
Teams are often formed with people who have been in the organisation since ages or have no background with anything remotely related to product management - even you own manager. This sometimes results in inefficient teams, and overloaded few individuals who perform above average.
- Career Growth : Again depending on teams this may be extremely accelerated for a very few, or almost none over several years for most. In terms of compensation, the growth in salary is also not satisfactory. It one of the main reason why fellow employees have left teams or the organization.
- Working from home : Officially working from home is prohibited for period more than 2 days. It also required managers approval and reporting in a tool. However, depending on relationship with manager, it could be approved without any issues.
