Pros

Amadeus is a young company that has enjoyed very sound and successful growth in its only 20 years of history. That has meant exhilarating job opportunities for young professionals, a true multinational and multi cultural background and an enriching international environment.

Cons

VERY political because of its strong ties with the legacy carriers of France, Spain and Germany. Wise commercially, needs to change its software development culture and create a real HR policy.

Pros

- Flexible hybrid work arrangements - Compensation opportunity is good if you can meet your very high sales targets.

Cons

- More creep into personal time and lack of boundaries. Meetings scheduled after work hours. Bosses messaging after hours and weekends for non urgent matters that could have been an email. - Constant reorg with no clear transition plan. Teams are left to figure things out after it’s announced but yet, expected to deliver immediately. Merging of multiple roles to one resulting in higher workload but same pay and higher stress level. - Training is promised but never eventually gets delivered. The reality is more like leaving you to figure it out on the job. - Travel opportunities not really a perk anymore with constant travel budget cuts. - HR preaches of good career progression and flexible job mobility. But in reality, there are rarely any openings in Singapore. If a position in Singapore is vacated, you will see that headcount backfilled at a lower cost location such as Bangalore instead. No opportunities to move unless you don’t mind moving countries without a relocation package and getting a significant pay cut as most hiring managers avoid offering relocation packages. - More bureaucracy and inefficient admin tasks. - Annual salary reviews are not tied to performance and highly not transparent. You could be a high achiever, but just get a miserable 1+% hike that doesn’t catch up with inflation.
