Pros

* Good salary * Leadership principles are for real * Native AWS development, lots of learning * Nice offices * Good internal structure (small teams, good planning, tech managers) * Nice perks (free coffee, food, beer, courses etc)

Cons

* Painful ops as we have to be oncall for a whole week every now and then * You are chained to internal tools and frameworks * You don't see a lot of promotions to senior positions, even for people with years of contributions

Pros

I have had the chance to work with amazing engineers and learn a lot from them. There are extremely talented engineers in the London office who are always willing to help others learn. The atmosphere within teams is generally friendly and it is quite social. There is a good variety of projects and teams which allows one to diversify their skills.

Cons

In certain areas the management style tends to be very aggressive setting unrealistic timelines purposefully which tends to put enormous pressure on individual contributors. Unfortunately, there aren't clear mechanisms for the company to support an individual's personal career development when it comes to further education.
