Pros

Interview process was very well organized. Every step happened at planned time. Interviews were challenging but fair. Interviewers were very kind and respectful. In the job, you are given all the opportunities you need to be successful and advance your career. Culture of raising the bar motivates you to improve your skills constantly. There are a lot of very talented and experienced people you work with and you learn from them a lot. Compensation and benefits are very good compared with many other similar positions.

Cons

Oncall duties can be scary at first. Even when you are experienced, potential impact of a failure makes you stressed. Many of the tools are custom to Amazon and won't help you much in the future if you leave Amazon.
