Pros

The pay is great, you have job security, and the benefits are better than average. You can move up if you don't mind working 50-60+ hour weeks.

Cons

No work life balance, amazon has the worst turn over of any of the top tech companies this is why they give such large sign on bonuses, to try to keep you. The work is not a challenge and they tend to put people in positions they are overqualified for. Very focused on "projects" and heavy on the call out culture. Tends to promote a very siloed and secretive workplace with a log of people trying to reinvent the wheel to get promoted.
