Pros

Compensation is higher then comparable companies Strong "Team" mentality, you will depend on your hourly associates and their success is also yours. Fairly good amount of RSUs (Stocks), however as others said the vesting period takes a while (only 5% vested after year 1)

Cons

LONG days, 12+ easy Some associates really try to doge working, and force others to pick up their slack. They have learned how to game the system in regards to scans and metrics (especially in Amazon Fresh). Can be slightly disorganized, with unrealistic goals. Working at a Fresh location can be difficult, especially with the changing temperature zones (-35 in frozen goods!) and constant obstacles on the floor.

Pros

Opportunity to work with cutting edge processes and technology. Gain industry experience knowledge quicker than any other company. Be rewarded with excellent salary, shares and benefits.

Cons

Can be difficult to get into, when Amazon recruit you need to go for it. Work life balance needs to be managed carefully. You need to manage your time management well.

Pros

Decent pay, great health benefits/dental/vision

Cons

Long hours 13 hour days w/ 60-70 hour work weeks during peek (October-January (site specific)), 10% discount up to $100 dollars a year, worst 401k policy equating to .50 cents per dollar up to 4% well under industry standard, 4 year vesting on stock, 3 year vesting on 401k. Average employee tenure at company is <1 year across most roles hence you never see 401k or Stock benefits just a lackluster base pay. Unless you can be miserable for 4 whole years you will recoup your initial investment
