      Pros

      I was proud to say that I worked for Amazon. The reputation of company is well earned. I was afforded travel and business opportunities that I had never had. The company has a fun and carefree culture but is also very metric driven. I learned a lot more about the business world; a pleasant surprise.

      Cons

      Crazy work schedule. Wasn't a good work like balance. Not the type of human resources work I wanted to do. The company was growing so fast it was hard to keep up with the constant, almost daily changes.

      Pros

      If you can stay long enough, restricted stock is a good benefit. Costs of health benefits are very reasonable Less company politics than most companies

      Cons

      Long hours continue into non-peak times, no work life balance. The workforce has over 50% new employees and turnover is very high You work all holidays except Christmas and maybe New Years, if lucky Micro manage the FCs, especially during peak Share door desks with others, no personal space Don't do enough with community service

      Pros

      With the growth the company is undergoing, there will be continual growth/promotional opportunities for the next decade. The general public's confidence in making online purchases will only increase as the "Text" generation graduates from college and has access to disposable income.

      Cons

      You will definitely work hard. If you don't like what you do, or who you work with, it will be a struggle. But if you enjoy your work, and those you work with, it could possibly be the coolest experience you ever have. Plan on being accessible via email at night and on weekends. Unless your a Software Development Engineer, you won't be on your computer over the weekend but a couple of times a year. You will be asked questions via email that may require a ready reply. Depending on your responsibilities this could be 1-2x/week to daily for high mainenance roles.
